Leeds are keeping their eyes on Eintracht Frankfurt's goalkeeper Michael Zetterer, although talks have hit a snag for now. As reported by Sky Sports journalist Zinnie Boswell, the German shot-stopper was seen training with his current side on Monday.
Zetterer is being eyed as a backup option behind James Trafford, while Lucas Perry remains in the squad, ready for the opening Premier League match against Nottingham Forest.
It’s a situation that also needs attention from Eintracht. The Frankfurt outfit are expected to sign a new first-choice goalkeeper, as Kaua Santos is likely to lose his status as the number one.
According to Sky Sports, without both clubs finalising their goalkeeping situations, there is little expectation for any substantial progress on Zetterer's move to Leeds.
