25-year-old Brazilian winger Gabriel Martinelli is set to continue his career in Saudi Arabia. According to Belgian journalist and insider Sacha Tavolieri, the player will fly to Riyadh within the next 48 hours to finalise all formalities and sign a contract with Al-Hilal.
The financial terms of the transfer have almost been agreed, with Arsenal set to receive a fee close to £55 million for their wide attacker. Martinelli himself has been offered an impressive personal contract, reportedly worth around £202,000 a week after tax.
Al-Hilal’s hierarchy is pushing to complete all paperwork swiftly, aiming to officially announce the signing of the star player before September 1, allowing them to register the Brazilian for a crucial league match against Al-Ahli.
