A bronze statue of Jurgen Klopp has been unveiled at Anfield to commemorate the 11th anniversary of his appointment, depicting the manager with a clenched fist.

Liverpool's hierarchy and fans have celebrated Jurgen Klopp's remarkable era by unveiling a permanent statue of the German manager at the club's official museum at Anfield. This milestone was marked on the exact date of his first appointment as the Merseysiders' boss, which took place in October 2015 — a full 11 years ago.

The bronze statue, standing at 18 inches (approximately 46 centimetres), was generously donated by the influential supporters' group Spirit of Shankly. Renowned sculptor Andy Edwards created the artwork, capturing Klopp's iconic post-match pose with a fist clenched in victory, raised proudly before the Kop stand.

Chairman of Spirit of Shankly, Paul Haan, highlighted the profound connection between the German coach and the club's spiritual heritage:

Klopp embodies key values shared with Bill Shankly, including honesty, integrity, passion, and an innate instinct to win.

During his nine years at the helm from 2015 to 2024, Klopp transformed Liverpool into a dominant force in world football. Under his guidance, the Reds achieved an impressive 299 victories in 489 official matches, secured the club's sixth European Cup, and ended a torturous 30-year wait for a league title.
