Brighton are certainly keen on snapping up 19-year-old forward Micah Mbika from Charlton. Despite submitting two offers in January, both bids were turned away by the Championship side.
Charlton have knocked back several approaches for Mbika over the past two transfer windows. Southampton have also shown considerable interest in the striker, reportedly offering £7 million on the final day of the winter transfer window.
Charlton manager Nathan Jones confirmed that the club has made a new contract proposal to Mbika, as they aim to keep the talented youngster and enhance his transfer value.
Mbika also holds Cameroonian citizenship and joined Charlton in July 2025, with his current deal running until June 2028.
At the international level, the forward has featured once for the England U20 team. According to Transfermarkt, his current market value is estimated at €300,000.
