The midfielder only made his move to Europe in September last year, when he joined Antwerp from Congolese side AS Normands. He had penned a four-year contract in Belgium, yet within less than a year, he's taking his talents to England.

Before his transfer to Sunderland, Ahuka had made just two appearances in Belgium's top division. Internationally, he has represented the DR Congo U23 team.
