Patrick Durgou will miss several weeks due to injury, and Benjamin Sheško won't be fit in time for the upcoming match. Michael Carrick also discussed the status of Noussair Mazraoui and other Manchester United players.

Manchester United manager Michael Carrick has provided an update on the state of his injured players ahead of the clash with Tottenham this Saturday.

The news isn't great for the Reds, as Patrick Durgou will be sidelined for several weeks following an injury. Carrick confirmed,

“Patrick went off, and it seems he will be out for a few weeks.”

Meanwhile, the participation of Noussair Mazraoui in the upcoming fixture remains uncertain. The defender took a knock during training, and Carrick will assess his fitness closer to match time.

“Noussair went off after a hit. He’s not in optimal condition yet, so we'll see how it develops,”

In more concerning news, Benjamin Sheško is also not expected to return to action soon. According to Carrick, the forward is falling behind in his recovery process and will miss out against Tottenham.

“Ben is further away from a return due to the nature of his injury, so he won’t be ready for the match,”

On a brighter note, Carlos Balleba is making progress and has been working hard in training sessions. Additionally, Amad Diallo, Kobbie Mainoo, and Marcus Rashford have also been involved in parts of training.
