Mikhail Mudrik's anticipated transfer to Leeds United has hit a snag. Reports from Sky Sports’ James Savundra and Zinni Boswell reveal that Chelsea are currently not considering the Yorkshire club as a viable loan option for the winger.
Despite this, Leeds have not completely turned their back on Mudrik. The club made an initial loan proposal for the Ukrainian, but Chelsea rejected it. Leeds are willing to make another approach, but only if the terms of the deal are more favourable.
Sky Sports indicates that Mudrik has other potential suitors. Several Premier League clubs, alongside teams from various European leagues, have shown interest in the 25-year-old.
One of the options being discussed is Strasbourg, a partner club of Chelsea. Previously, the Londoners preferred this loan option for Mudrik.
A decision needs to be made soon, with the summer transfer window in England closing on September 1.
