Jerónimo Ruli has opened up about a conversation he had with former Manchester City forward Julián Alvarez, who provided an excited endorsement of the club before Ruli made his move from Marseille to the Etihad.

The goalkeeper also mentioned that his fellow countryman advised him on where to live in Manchester.

The 34-year-old expressed his pride in joining a prestigious group of Argentine stars at City.

He is keen to follow in the footsteps of legends like Sergio Agüero, Carlos Tevez, and Claudio Echeverri.
