Guglielmo Vicario could find himself back at Tottenham after this season as Juventus is still weighing up whether to exercise their buy option for the 29-year-old goalkeeper.
The Italian keeper joined the Turin club on loan at the end of the summer transfer window, quickly establishing himself as the number one choice. His initial performances have impressed those at Juventus, but the club intends to evaluate him throughout the season.

There are definitely questions surrounding his future, as Vicario arrived on loan with an option to buy.
Juventus plans to use this season to assess the former Tottenham goalkeeper. Early impressions of Guglielmo Vicario are promising and generally positive. However, it remains too early to declare whether he will be their long-term goalkeeper.
This situation means that Tottenham’s hopes of a definitive departure for Vicario are still uncertain. Should the Turin side choose not to activate their purchase option, the keeper will return to the London club next summer.
Juventus may also explore the option of renegotiating the transfer terms after the season instead of activating the current buy clause.
