Former Napoli manager Antonio Conte is holding out for the ideal European project before making his return to the touchline. According to renowned insider Fabrizio Romano, the 57-year-old Italian coach has already rejected lucrative offers from Saudi Arabian club Al Ahli and Turkish side Fenerbahce.
Conte has been out of work since the summer, after leaving Naples as champions. During his two-year tenure with the southern club, Conte led them back to the summit of Serie A, clinching the title in the 2025/26 season and winning the Italian Supercup.
Despite substantial financial incentives from Middle Eastern clubs, the prospect of moving to Saudi Arabia or taking up a role in Turkey didn’t appeal to the Italian. His primary aim is to land a top-tier European project with high ambitions.
Conte's services are being sought by three heavyweights: Juventus, Milan, and a struggling Manchester United. Speculation has been further fuelled by Conte’s recent visit to San Siro, where he was spotted in the stands watching Milan's European clash against Portugal's Benfica.
