Manchester United are still considering Anthony Robinson as a potential signing to bolster their left-back position in the upcoming January transfer window, according to Football Insider.
The 29-year-old American has been on United's radar for some time. The club rekindled their interest in Robinson last spring, but no deal materialised during the summer. Now, with their plans to strengthen the left flank of defence, the Fulham defender is back in the frame.
Robinson has long been a target for United
Interest in the player predates Michael Carrick's tenure. Last summer, Sky Sports also reported that Robinson was among Manchester United's targets alongside Lewis Hall.
A further boost to his profile came during Fulham's clash with United on September 20. Robinson played the full 90 minutes in the 1-1 draw, impressively finishing the match with a 94% pass accuracy, creating two chances, successfully delivering 67% of his crosses, as well as making three tackles and two blocks.
