Freddie Ljungberg remains convinced that Arsenal are the frontrunners in the title race. The former Gunners midfielder believes that the team's prolonged work under Mikel Arteta provides the current champions with a serious advantage over their competitors.
After four matches, both Arsenal and Manchester City have secured 12 points. The North London side also triumphed over Enzo Maresca's team with a 3-0 victory in the Community Shield prior to the season kick-off.
When asked if Arsenal is still his pick for the title, Ljungberg responded:
One hundred percent. I think they will be the champions.
Arsenal has a huge advantage: the same coach has been working with the team for a long time, and the players certainly know how they want to play.
The battle will be tight. We've already seen Arsenal encounter tough matches, but they still win those—this is incredibly important. Therefore, I firmly consider Arsenal to be the favourites.
The next match in the Premier League for Arteta's side will be away against Brighton.
