Liverpool are eyeing PSV midfielder Paul Wanner as a potential January signing, with interest also coming from Real Madrid and his former club Bayern Munich.
According to Polish publication Sportowy, all three clubs are keeping tabs on Wanner's development. Manchester City have also been linked with the midfielder, but Bayern hold a significant advantage — the chance to bring back their academy product.
Wanner left the German giants for PSV in the summer of 2025. During his debut season in the Netherlands, he scored four goals and played a key role in helping his team clinch the domestic title.
While PSV are not looking to actively sell Wanner, sources suggest they would enter negotiations if a lucrative offer comes in. The estimated asking price for the player is between €45–50 million, and the structure of any potential deal could involve performance-related bonuses and a sell-on percentage.
For Liverpool, finding a midfielder remains a priority following the summer departure of Curtis Jones. As the transfer window closed, the Merseysiders also sought to secure Lamin Kamara from Monaco, but the French outfit ultimately refused to let their player leave.
Meanwhile, Andoni Iraola has 19-year-old Trey Nyon at his disposal, with expectations high for the youngster to develop and challenge for a regular spot in the starting XI.
