Chelsea are absolutely furious about the situation with Monaco. In all my years following Chelsea, I have only seen the club hierarchy this angry on a few occasions.
I think the relationship between Chelsea and Monaco is completely shattered after that evening. It's hard to imagine any dealings between the clubs in the foreseeable future.
The conflict arose during negotiations for Kamara in the dying hours of the transfer window. Chelsea had agreed a fee of around €55 million with Monaco and received permission to proceed with the transfer, only for the French club to withdraw from the sale.
Monaco's decision was linked to the situation surrounding Folarin Balogun. As his move to Everton reopened, Monaco decided against allowing Kamara to join Chelsea, leaving the Londoners without their intended midfield reinforcement.
