The chances of Manchester United poaching Lewis Hall from Newcastle United are dwindling rapidly. The limited budget and the need to strengthen other positions are forcing the Red Devils to look for more affordable alternatives at left-back, where 31-year-old Luke Shaw requires reliable backup ahead of a challenging season featuring the Champions League.
