Branthwaite has made a full recovery from his injury and has regained his spot in the starting lineup for Everton. His impressive performances also earned him a recall to the England squad by Thomas Tuchel.
Negotiating with Everton may prove to be a challenge; the Merseyside club rejected an offer from United last year, deeming it significantly below the player's value, and their relationship remains tense over this matter.
Less than a year ago, Branthwaite extended his contract with Everton until 2030, leaving the club under no obligation to sell. It is expected that any negotiations will need to start with an offer of at least £50 million.
