Liverpool are showing serious interest in Borussia Dortmund midfielder Felix Nmetchu. According to Fussball News, the German club values the 25-year-old player at around €90 million.
The Merseysiders are closely monitoring Nmetchu and see him as a potential reinforcement for their midfield. Liverpool are on the lookout for a physically robust and dynamic midfielder capable of aiding in the build-up play.
However, no talks have taken place between the clubs as of yet. Nmetchu’s contract with Borussia runs until 2030, meaning Dortmund feel no urgency to sell one of their key players.
Manchester City are also keeping tabs on the situation. Nmetchu came through the ranks at the English club but left in 2021 without securing a regular place in the first team.
In recent months, the midfielder has impressed for Borussia as well as for the German national team during the World Cup. A potential transfer in January will largely hinge on whether any interested parties are willing to meet Dortmund's €90 million valuation.
