Manchester City manager Enzo Maresca has lauded Sunderland ahead of their upcoming Premier League encounter.
The Italian specifically commended the Black Cats' display against Arsenal, arguing that Regis Le Bris' team was unfortunate to suffer defeat.
Sunderland fell to Arsenal 0-2 in the fourth round of the league. The match remained tightly contested until the first goal, with a pivotal moment being a missed penalty by Enzo Le Fe at the 56-minute mark, saved by David Raya. Just two minutes later, Bruno Guimaraes found the net to put Arsenal ahead. Bukayo Saka later converted a second penalty to seal the victory.

Sunderland are very good. In my opinion, they did not deserve to lose to Arsenal.
