Chelsea has officially announced a new long-term contract with Joao Pedro, ensuring the Brazilian striker will remain with the club until 2034.
Joao Pedro joined Chelsea from Brighton in July 2025 and made an immediate impact on his new side. He netted a brace in the Club World Cup semi-final against Fluminense and added another goal in the triumphant final against PSG.
In his first full season at Stamford Bridge, the Brazilian scored 20 goals across all competitions. By the end of the campaign, fans had voted him as Chelsea's Player of the Season.
