15-Second Brief
Brentford fans gave Jordan Henderson a harsh reception following his free transfer to Chelsea this summer. During the thrashing of Xabi Alonso's team by a score of 3-0, the stands mockingly chanted at the former player: “Jordan, what’s the score?”

Brentford fans certainly made their feelings known as Jordan Henderson returned to the Gtech Community Stadium. The midfielder, who departed Brentford for Chelsea in the summer, was in the starting lineup against his former club and quickly became the subject of mockery from the stands.

In the second half, as the home side began to dismantle Xabi Alonso's team, Brentford fans directed their chants at Henderson.

They sang:

“Jordan, what’s the score? Jordan, Jordan, what’s the score?”

This evening was particularly painful for Henderson given the circumstances surrounding his return. Having spent just one season at Brentford, he made the move to Chelsea on a free transfer during the summer.

This match marked his debut for the new club—strikingly against his former side—after recovering from a wrist injury sustained while on international duty with England. Xabi Alonso decided to give him a start.

Following a goalless first half, Brentford completely turned the game around. Jadon Anthony opened the scoring, Igor Thiago doubled their lead, and Fabio Carvalho sealed the deal in stoppage time with a 3-0 finish.

This victory saw Keith Andrews' side move up to third place in the Premier League, continuing their unbeaten start to the season.

For Chelsea, however, things are looking rather bleak. Alonso's men have failed to win in three consecutive Premier League matches, and Henderson's return to his old stomping ground ended in defeat and derision from the Brentford supporters.
