Bournemouth and Liverpool are set to face off at the Vitality Stadium in the Premier League.
Head coach Marco Rose is unlikely to make significant changes to his Bournemouth side following their recent victory against Real Sociedad. The Cherries will still be missing Junior Kroupi, who is sidelined with a foot injury and won’t return until November. Amin Adli, a key contributor last season, is also out with a calf injury and will miss the international break. With several defenders, including Julian Araujo and Veljko Milosavljevic, already out, it seems likely Bournemouth will stick with the same line-up.
Possible Bournemouth starting XI (4-2-3-1):
Petrovic — Smith, Hill, Silva, Truffer — Cook, Scott — Ryan, Kluivert, Tavernier — Evanilson.
On the other hand, Liverpool manager Andoni Iraola will be looking to reintegrate some key players into his starting XI after a significant rotation in the cup. The Reds currently have a few players on their injury list, including Hugo Ekitike, Conor Bradley, Giovanni Leonie, and Federico Chiesa.
Joe Gomez, who played the first half against Tottenham, is expected to start on the bench as Virgil van Dijk returns to centre-back alongside Jeremy Jacques. Ronald Araujo will shift to the right flank, while Alisson replaces Giorgi Mamardashvili in goal. Alexis Mac Allister, Cody Gakpo, and Milos Kerkes will remain in the starting line-up, joined by new additions Dominik Szoboszlai, Bradley Barcola, Florian Wirtz, and Alexander Isak.
Possible Liverpool starting XI (4-2-3-1):
Alisson — Ronald Araujo, Jacques, Van Dijk, Kerkes — Szoboszlai, Mac Allister — Barcola, Wirtz, Gakpo — Isak.
