Nick Woltemade's time at Newcastle could come to an early end. Reports suggest that the club is open to offers for the forward following the conclusion of his loan spell at Juventus.
The 24-year-old joined the Magpies from Stuttgart in 2025 for a club-record £69 million. However, his first season in England failed to deliver the expected impact.
Despite netting 11 goals and providing six assists in 53 appearances, Newcastle recently opted to send the German striker out on loan to Juventus for the entire season.
According to Football Insider, the club is willing to entertain a permanent transfer in the summer of 2027, even though his current loan does not include an option to buy.
Reports indicate that Woltemade is no longer part of head coach Matthias Jaissle's long-term plans. Before his departure, Newcastle bolstered their attack significantly by signing Matias Fernandez-Pardo.
Meanwhile, Woltemade has already started making an impression in Italy. He scored his first goal for Juventus from the penalty spot in a convincing 5-0 Europa League victory against NEC Nijmegen, playing 83 minutes in the match.
This loan seems more like an audition for a potential permanent transfer.
