On Saturday afternoon, Manchester United will play their final pre-season friendly ahead of the Premier League kick-off. Michael Carrick’s side will meet Italian giants Milan at Tarczyński Arena in Wrocław, Poland.
In their last outing, the Red Devils managed to edge past Leeds United in a penalty shootout, while Milan suffered a heavy defeat against Chelsea, going down 0-3. Adding extra spice to the encounter is the presence of Milan's head coach Ruben Amorim, who previously managed the Manchester club.
Returning to the squad after a break are key players Marcus Rashford, Kobbie Mainoo, and Lisandro Martinez.
Michael Carrick commented:
“Marcus, Licha, and Kobbie have only been back with us for a couple of days and weren’t quite ready, but they’ll be with us by the weekend. They’ve been training hard. On Friday, we had our final preparations and we’ll find the right balance for game time.”
