The 23-year-old is under observation from the Spanish giants, who are contemplating bolstering their midfield options in January. Scott's contract with Bournemouth runs until 2028, but with the new year approaching, he will enter the final 18 months of his deal, which could prompt discussions if a new agreement isn't reached.
Real's interest in Scott traces back to negotiations with Bournemouth regarding Dean Huyse in 2025, during which the clubs reportedly reached a verbal agreement to be notified if Scott became available.
Since making the switch to Bournemouth in 2023, the English midfielder has evolved into a versatile player, shifting from an attacking role to deeper positions. So far this season, Scott has played six matches, scoring one goal and providing two assists. That said, there are currently no indications that a January transfer is imminent.
