However, the chase for Kamara has been complicated by Liverpool's interest. Additionally, Chelsea has explored options within the Premier League, including Alex Scott from Bournemouth and Sander Berge from Fulham, but neither club is planning to part with their players this January.
The necessity of hitting the transfer market largely hinges on the recovery of Moises Caicedo from injury, as well as the progress of the club's 16-year-old academy prospects — Mahdi Nicol-Djazuli and Reggie Watson. According to Kinsella, it may be more beneficial for Chelsea to wait until summer to secure a top-quality player rather than opting for a temporary solution in January, although an injury crisis could prompt the hierarchy to act sooner.
