Julian Alvarez is seriously considering a move to Arsenal in January. The Gunners were willing to pay over £100 million in the summer.

Julian Alvarez is keen on a transfer to Arsenal and is seriously weighing up a move to the Emirates in January. This information comes from Guillem Balague.

Previously, the Argentine striker considered Barcelona as his top choice, but Arsenal has now emerged as a major alternative.

According to Balague, the Gunners were prepared to fork out over £100 million for the forward last summer and are set to return to the negotiating table.

This potential deal could involve players from Arsenal, with Viktor Dijkeresh or Noni Madueke being contemplated as part of a possible agreement with Atletico.
