Liverpool secured their first Premier League victory under the management of Andoni Iraola with a convincing 2-0 win over Ipswich at Portman Road. The standout performer was Alexander Isaac, who found the net twice in the opening nine minutes.

After the break, Ipswich appeared more aggressive and forced Liverpool to spend more time defending, yet the Reds managed to maintain their advantage, marking their first clean sheet of the season.
In addition, debutant Bradley Barcola made his first appearance for the Merseyside club, having signed for a fee that could reach £123 million, coming off the bench. Ronald Araujo also made his first start for Liverpool in this match.
