Ifeanyi Ndiukwe may return to Liverpool from his loan at Levante in January. The 18-year-old has successfully earned points for his UK work visa, but the club is yet to decide if he should interrupt his spell in Spain.

Loanee defender Ifeanyi Ndiukwe could make a return to Merseyside during the January transfer window, according to Sky Sport Austria.

The 18-year-old was sent on loan to Spanish La Liga side Levante to gain the necessary match experience for his UK work visa. After five appearances for the Spanish club, Ndiukwe has accumulated the required points and is now eligible to rejoin Liverpool following an impressive pre-season with the Reds.

Meanwhile, in recent weeks, the young defender has been featuring regularly for Levante, playing the full 90 minutes in his last three La Liga matches and even finding the back of the net. As a result, the club is considering whether it might be more beneficial for him to remain in Spain for the entire season, and no final decision has been made yet.
