The 22-year-old is making the move to the English Premier League from Real Madrid.
As part of the deal, the La Liga giants will retain a percentage of any future transfer fee for Angel and will also hold a buy-back option.
Angel follows in the footsteps of fellow academy graduates Gonzalo Garcia and Cesar Palacios, who have also departed from the Madrid setup under manager Alvaro Arbeloa.
