According to Sky Sports, midfielder Rodri is ready to spend another season at Manchester City, providing Barcelona don’t pay the required €70 million.
The Citizens have already turned down two offers from the Catalan giants, making it clear they expect a guaranteed sum of €70 million for the Spanish international.
Rodri is well aware of the situation and is open to a move to Barcelona. However, if the transfer doesn't materialise, he will be ready to remain at the Etihad.
With his contract expiring next summer, if a deal doesn't go through now, the midfielder could leave on a free transfer in 2027.
