Nottingham Forest boss Oliver Glasner has confirmed that his squad is moving on from the contentious incident in their 0-0 draw against Tottenham. Neco Williams had a goal ruled out in the second half following a VAR review.
Still searching for his first win at the helm of Forest, Glasner heads into their away fixture against Aston Villa with confidence in his team.
Speaking ahead of the upcoming match, Glasner said:
Everyone deals with contentious situations differently, but for me, it’s quite straightforward. We discussed it on Sunday morning, but that’s now behind us. It’s all done.
The score is confirmed as 0-0, so there’s no point in continuing to dwell on it. Now, we’re focusing on the next match against Aston Villa. We started our preparations on Tuesday, and I haven’t noticed anyone still upset about that decision.
We feel like we're playing well, but we also recognise that we can improve in certain areas, particularly in the final third.
We are confident heading into the game at Villa Park. We know they have a good team and a strong manager, but we are going there believing we can win.
