Kyle Walker has denied media reports suggesting he plans to remove his Manchester City tattoos. The defender stated he takes pride in his history with the club.

Kyle Walker has firmly stated that he never intended to remove his Manchester City tattoos, labelling media headlines as misleading. The former City captain took to social media to emphasise that his time at the club is an integral part of his career which he will always cherish, and the memories and tattoos he has will stay with him forever.

The speculation arose from comments made by the player during a talkSPORT interview. Discussing Manchester City's appeal against a ruling by an independent commission over alleged financial breaches in the Premier League, Walker confirmed the existence of his tattoo that reads 'four times in a row', honouring the club's four Premier League titles from the 2020/21 season to 2023/24.

When quizzed in a light-hearted manner by the host whether he would need to remove the tattoo should the titles be stripped, Walker responded that it might be necessary to have that part removed but he hopes to keep the design, expressing his desire that the medals would remain intact. He acknowledged that the situation does not look promising from the outside but pledged to stand by his teammates throughout, as they simply went out onto the pitch and did their job.

It’s worth noting that Walker has spent eight seasons at Manchester City since joining from Tottenham in 2017, winning multiple trophies including a treble and the Champions League in 2023. He later had a stint at Burnley and is currently playing in the Championship.
