Florian Wirtz reveals details of phone call with Germany manager Jurgen Klopp

Attacking midfielder Florian Wirtz has spoken about his first contact with the new head coach of the Germany national team, Jurgen Klopp.

In an interview with Sky, the German talent shared his excitement about connecting with the legendary manager:

We actually spoke on the phone for the first time two days ago. Up until then, I had never had any direct contact with him.

I’ve heard him mention me a couple of times, and people here at the club have also told me a lot about him. So, it was really cool to finally chat with him personally. I definitely came away very happy.
