Bournemouth are ready to sell midfielder Alex Scott in the January window of 2027 after the player declined to extend his contract. Chelsea and Liverpool will compete for the midfielder.

Bournemouth have changed their stance and are now open to the possibility of selling midfielder Alex Scott in the January transfer window of 2027, according to BBC.

Last summer, the Cherries made every effort to keep hold of the 23-year-old after he turned down multiple contract extension offers in a bid to push for a transfer. Scott's current deal runs until the end of June 2028, which gives the club a solid chance of securing a hefty fee.

Chelsea previously had an offer for Scott rejected during the summer transfer window of 2026, but the London club remains keen and intent on reigniting their interest. However, they’ll face stiff competition from Liverpool. An additional factor that could sway Scott towards the Merseyside club is manager Andoni Iraola, under whom he has thrived at Bournemouth.
