Enzo Fernandez insists on leaving Chelsea and requests a transfer to Manchester City

25-year-old Argentine midfielder Enzo Fernandez is making a strong case for his exit from Chelsea, as he has reportedly approached the club's hierarchy once again, requesting a move to Manchester City. According to renowned insider Nicolo Schira, the player has already agreed to personal terms for a long-term contract with the Cityzens, running until the summer of 2032 (six years).

Manchester City are confident in concluding a deal with Chelsea for a fee of around €130 million. City's head coach Enzo Maresca sees Fernandez as the perfect leader in midfield, playing a pivotal role in revitalising the squad's engine room. The World Cup winner is keen to reunite with his former boss at the Etihad Stadium.
