Nottingham Forest's head coach Oliver Glasner has commented on the imminent transfer of 23-year-old Chelsea forward Liam Delap.
According to Sky Sports, the 'Tricky Trees' have already finalised a club-record agreement for the Blues' striker.
Speaking at a press conference following their home defeat to Leeds (0-2) in the League Cup, Glasner addressed the potential new signing and the prospect of him playing in their next Premier League fixture:
"I can't talk about a player who is under contract with another club, and we haven't announced any signings yet. So today there are no specific comments. We might have a new player soon, but I don't know if he'll be available for Saturday's match against Liverpool."
An official announcement regarding the record transfer is expected in the coming hours, after which it will be confirmed whether the club can register Delap in time for the away match at Anfield.
