Former Newcastle United manager Eddie Howe is poised for a return to football but is being selective about his next club. The 48-year-old left St. James' Park this summer after nearly five successful years at the helm.
Currently spending time with his family, Howe's representatives are actively exploring new opportunities. He is not in a rush to accept the first offer that comes his way.
Recently, the French club Lens, competing in the Champions League, reached out to him. However, Howe deemed the project unsuitable and declined the opportunity.
In England, Manchester United and Fulham are both reportedly monitoring the situation, as managers Michael Carrick and Alvaro Arbeloa find themselves under significant pressure due to poor early-season performances.
There's also a possibility that Howe could return to the Vitality Stadium. Current Bournemouth boss Marco Rose has yet to secure a win in his tenure, prompting club hierarchy to consider a managerial change.
