Alvaro Morata is on the brink of an unexpected return to Spain. According to Fabrizio Romano, the 33-year-old striker is gearing up to move from Como to second-tier side Leganes on loan.
The former Chelsea forward officially became a Como player this summer after spending last season on loan at Milan.
Morata's previous season was far from fruitful, managing just one goal in 30 appearances across all competitions.
Over his career, Morata has donned the shirts of Real Madrid, Juventus, Chelsea, Atletico Madrid, Milan, and Como. His overall transfer fees throughout his career have been estimated at around €229.2 million.
Now, the forward is close to a loan deal with Leganes for the 2026/27 season.
