Tottenham and Everton played to a 0-0 draw in the Premier League on 12 September, with neither side able to break the deadlock.
The first half saw both teams approach the game cautiously, with neither capable of finding the net. As the half-time whistle blew, the scoreboard remained unchanged at 0-0, a scenario that unfortunately persisted throughout the second period.
No goals after 90 minutes
Both teams made a series of substitutions in an attempt to change the flow of the game, but ultimately, the changes bore no fruit.
For Tottenham, Lucas Bergvall, Matias Tell, and Mateus Kudus entered the fray on 63 minutes, replacing Pape Sarr, Dominic Solanke, and Manuel Fernandes respectively.
James Maddison made way for Omar Marmush in the 77th minute, while Tosin Adarabioyo substituted Aaron Gray just eight minutes later.
Everton also made tactical changes, with Tyreik George coming on for Jack Grealish in the 65th minute. Shortly after, Kenny Docherty received a yellow card in the 68th minute.
In a double substitution on 75 minutes, Hamza Hakn and Jack O'Brien replaced Betu and Myles Maitland-Niles, and James Garner was also introduced at the 84-minute mark.
Tottenham’s head coach, Roberto De Zerbi, received a yellow card in the dying moments of the match as frustration mounted on the sideline.
