Arsenal and Chelsea have contacted Raphinha's representatives. Both clubs are ready to offer the Brazilian double his salary, but the player wants to stay at Barcelona.

Arsenal and Chelsea are interested in Raphinha and have already contacted the player’s representatives regarding a potential move next summer.

According to Globo Esporte, both English clubs are prepared to offer the winger a salary that would nearly double his current wage at Barcelona. The London clubs are hoping this financial incentive will lure Raphinha back to the Premier League.

However, the Brazilian has yet to prioritise a departure from the Catalan giants.

Raphinha wants to stay at Barcelona

The main obstacle for Arsenal and Chelsea is clearly the player’s own position.

Raphinha is keen to continue his career at Barcelona, where he has become a pivotal figure under manager Hansi Flick. Meanwhile, the Catalan club is working on securing a new contract that will ensure the Brazilian's long-term future at Camp Nou.

Currently, Raphinha's deal with Barcelona runs through June 2028.

English clubs ready to double the wages

Both Arsenal and Chelsea are ready to employ a financial argument to try and change the current situation.

As reported by Globo Esporte, the clubs are willing to offer Raphinha approximately double what he earns at Barcelona.

Yet, even with more lucrative financial terms on the table, the winger's desire to remain in Catalonia appears unchanged.

Previously, FC Barcelona president Joan Laporta has publicly stated that the club has no intentions of selling Raphinha, viewing him as a key part of their squad.
