Italian full-back Marco Palastra, who joined Chelsea during the summer transfer window, is yet to make his debut for the London club due to an injury that sidelined him for two weeks. In an interview with Italian journalists, the player shared insights about his recovery progress and impending return to the pitch:
I'm doing well. Just a few days away from full recovery, but I already feel significantly better.
The young defender praised the team atmosphere and the guidance from head coach Xabi Alonso:
From day one, Xabi Alonso and my teammates have given me a truly warm welcome. A lot has changed in my life, but I love absolutely everything here. Will I become a regular starter? In a team like this, no one’s spot is guaranteed. What I can assure you is that we’re all determined to achieve great heights. We have an incredible squad, and I’m confident that through our collective efforts, we will accomplish amazing success.
