Manchester City have named a 22-player squad for their first Champions League match of the new season against Porto. Enzo Maresca's team is set to travel to Portugal for the fixture taking place on 8 September at the Dragão Stadium.
The squad includes three goalkeepers: Gianluigi Donnarumma, Geronimo Rulli, and Marcus Bettinelli.
In defence, they have Rico Lewis, Matheus Nunes, Abdukodir Husanov, Vitor Reis, Ruben Dias, Marc Guehi, Josko Gvardiol, and Ryan Ait-Nouri.
The midfield consists of Ayyoub Bouaddi, Mateo Kovacic, Elliot Anderson, Enzo Fernandez, Phil Foden, and Ryan Cherki.
Upfront, City will feature Ryan McAdoo, Antoine Semenyo, Allan Elias, Iliman Ndiaye, and Erling Haaland.
However, Nico O'Riley and Jeremy Doku will not be making the trip to Portugal. O'Riley picked up a back injury during warm-ups before the match against Coventry, while Doku is still recovering from a calf injury. Youngsters Kayden Brathwaite and Floyd Samba have also been left out, as they are expected to play for the Under-19 team in the UEFA Youth League.
Enzo Maresca previously confirmed that Ayyoub Bouaddi, Ryan McAdoo, and Iliman Ndiaye could all see their first Champions League minutes in this match.
Manchester City head into this clash in fine form, having won all three of their opening Premier League matches in the 2026/27 season. The match against Porto kicks off at 22:00 MSK / 21:00 CET / 20:00 BST on 8 September.
