The 19-year-old winger Kendry Paez has been offered to Blackburn Rovers on loan.
However, the priority for Blackburn remains Patrick Roberts if the club can strike a deal for his transfer.
Chelsea are keen on ensuring Paez gets regular game time in any loan arrangement, particularly after the Ecuadorian was recalled early from his loan at River Plate due to dissatisfaction with his minutes on the pitch.
Another potential destination for Paez is Celtic, but the Scottish club must convince Chelsea that the young player will receive ample playing opportunities.
Paez has made 27 appearances for Ecuador, scoring two goals. He joined Chelsea in July 2025 and is contracted to the club until 2033.
According to Transfermarkt, the player’s current market value stands at €8 million.
