Iliman Ndiaye: “I’m happy the move to Manchester City has happened”

Iliman Ndiaye has expressed his delight after making his debut for Manchester City in their narrow 1-0 victory against Coventry City.

“It was a great game. Starting with a win is just perfect. It was tough, but we wanted to win. The last few days have been fantastic. Now I’m a Manchester City player, and I’m happy that the move has happened,” Ndiaye stated.

The midfielder admitted that leaving Everton wasn’t an easy decision.

“It was hard. The fans, one of my daughters was born there. But this is football. I mentioned that I want to play at the highest level, in major leagues and the Champions League,” he added.

Ndiaye also praised his new manager, Enzo Maresca:

“He’s an amazing coach. I can’t wait to see what the future holds for us,” he said.
