Tottenham manager Roberto De Zerbi has commented on the 0-0 draw against Nottingham Forest in the third round of the Premier League.
'I am disappointed with the result, but very happy with the performance. Considering we only started working together last Thursday, I think we can improve on our final choices and the last pass,' said De Zerbi.
The Italian believes that Tottenham can find the back of the net more frequently:
'If we improve our play in the final third, we are capable of scoring many goals, because we have players with great quality.'
De Zerbi also praised the team's ball play:
'We played very well with the ball and found solutions. In the final third, we can be much better.'
The coach explained his decision to make a double substitution in the second half, bringing on Savio and Destiny Udogie.
'We may have lost a bit of balance and connection. But we have to respect Nottingham Forest, as they consistently played for second balls and long passes.'
