According to Quotidiano Sportivo, the 28-year-old Colombian centre-back from Bologna does not view a move to Old Trafford as a priority.
Lukumi's preference is clear: he dreams of a transfer to Juventus, and should that deal fall through, his second choice would be Chelsea.
Financially, Bologna is open to letting the defender go for €25 million plus €3 million in bonuses, totalling around €28 million (£24 million).
A timeline for the deal suggests Juventus has reassured the player that an official offer will be made after the conclusion of their tour in Asia and Oceania on August 11.
Newcastle blocking the transfer of Lewis Hall
Meanwhile, Manchester United is exploring options to strengthen their left flank, with Lewis Hall being a primary target. However, insider Fabrizio Romano has reported that Newcastle United is blocking the move.
