“If Alisson stays, Mamardashvili won't fancy a third season as a backup”.

The journalist opines that renewing Alisson's deal could virtually guarantee Mamardashvili’s departure.
“If Alisson remains, it likely signals that Mamardashvili will leave. Additionally, the club has invested heavily in young Belgian goalkeeper Lukka Brugmans”.
Liverpool are already weighing up several options for the future. Pearce also mentioned Viteszlav Jaros, who is expected to return in a few months, and Armin Pecci, who is currently on loan in Austria.

Pearce highlighted that the Merseysiders seem to be optimistic about the prospects of their young goalkeepers for years to come.
“It feels like they are quite satisfied with what they have for the next five, six, or seven years. However, the immediate future is indeed very uncertain”.
