Federico Chiesa may weigh up a move away from Liverpool in the January transfer window if he doesn't get enough playing time following his recovery from injury. According to Football Insider, the Italian's future may also depend on the Merseysiders' plans for January.
The 28-year-old remained at Anfield over the summer despite speculation about a departure. He is currently recovering from a minor muscle injury, with manager Andoni Iraola including him in the Premier League squad but leaving him out of the Champions League roster.
With Mohamed Salah's exit, Chiesa had the chance to feature more frequently on the right flank, especially as Liverpool didn't sign a direct replacement for the Egyptian. However, reports suggest that if he continues to find himself benched after returning from injury, he will be keen to seek a new club in January.
Meanwhile, Liverpool continue to show interest in Brighton winger Yankuba Minte. The Merseysiders made two bids during the summer, reaching up to £60 million, but Brighton were holding out for £70 million.
Football Insider also indicates that Liverpool might make another attempt to sign the 22-year-old player in the winter window. Minte is currently recuperating from a leg injury and is expected to return to action in November.
Last season, Chiesa made 36 appearances for Liverpool, scoring three goals and providing three assists.
