Milan is considering signing Manchester United defender Leni Yoro next summer for €40-50 million, hoping for the assistance of agent Jorge Mendes.

Italian club Milan is showing serious interest in Manchester United defender Leni Yoro and is weighing up a move for him in the summer transfer window for a fee between €40 and €50 million.

According to Italian journalist Daniele Longo, the French centre-back features on the Rossoneri's shortlist as they look to bolster their defensive line. The club is hopeful that star agent Jorge Mendes can facilitate a potential transfer.

Milan's interest is driven by injury concerns in the central defence, with Matteo Gabbia and Mario Gila sidelined, prompting the club to explore strengthening options. Other candidates are also under consideration for the January window, including Daniele Ghilardi (Roma), Thiago Gabriel (Lecce), and Ousmane Diomande (with references to Inacio from Sporting), as well as Bayern Munich's Kim Min-Jae. However, a deal for Leni Yoro is being eyed specifically for next season.

The French football product moved to Manchester United from Lille in 2024 and remains one of the Red Devils' key young defensive assets.
