Liverpool are currently not looking to offer Alexis Mac Allister a new contract. This has been reported by journalist Ben Jacobs.
The 27-year-old Argentine midfielder's current deal expires in less than two years, and according to the source, he is frustrated that the club has yet to initiate talks over a renewal.
Despite this, Liverpool are looking to strengthen their midfield next year, with names like Alex Scott from Bournemouth and Lamine Camara from Monaco reportedly on the club's shortlist.
Mac Allister remains one of the standout players in the squad this season, having scored four goals and provided one assist in 11 matches. Earlier this week, he even netted a brace against Villarreal.
It remains unclear whether Liverpool will change their stance on the midfielder's contract and if talks will begin in the coming months.
